CJC-1295 without DAC, also known as Modified GRF 1-29 (Mod GRF), is a synthetic analog of the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It has been modified at four positions to resist enzymatic degradation while maintaining a short half-life that allows for pulsatile GH release.

Unlike its DAC-conjugated cousin, CJC-1295 no DAC has a half-life of approximately 30 minutes, meaning it produces a brief but potent GH pulse similar to natural GHRH signaling.
